WarriorsWA

Hi all

I am new to the site having become a warrior in wa last year. We had our gig at the Charles Hotel in November 08...sensational night and a fantastic experience..I was a typical warrior had played in a couple of throw together bands over the last 30 years but nothing ever serious...a good mate of mine suggested warriors which I originally felt pretty nervous about but after the jam and meeting all the guys and then forming John Lee and His Hookers (our lead singers name is John Lee) 7 of the best blokes you'd ever meet...various degrees of talent and ability and great personalities and real fun to be with it capped off a great 6 weeks or so...

Good new is we are still together jamming and looking to build the set list...One thing I have noticed is that we are so far behind SA and the rest of the country when it comes to Post Warriors organisation..there is practically nothing (unless I am mistaken)..I read on the SA website about their three day festival, club nights etc and from this forum it is obvious that QLD has many events even opportunities to gig regularly it seems...

Any way we'll just have to do something about it in WA so that will go on the agenda for the break at our next rehearsal.

I'll certainly come back to this forum regularly for a Warrior fix

Cheers
