We had to go. You either pay or miss out. And we paid. This is by far the most expensive concert I have been to ever (tickets $285 each for gold which got us seats so far back we needed the huge screens to see them properly. This is too much! Pink tickets were cheaper and she did more concerts.

OK winge over.

If you ever liked these guys you would have loved this concert; they did hit after hit (2 hours no intermission and no support) and even had segments for Art on his own and Paul on his own. The band, as you would expect, were CPs: one of the guitarists also played cello, fife, sax and digeri-bone - and sang harmony too.

Paul has aged visibly and I think his range has shrunk a bit, but Art's voice was as good as ever and he still looks like a soft toy with that red hair. Having said that one of the highlights for me was 'Bridge over Troubled Water' which Art sang as usual but for verse 2 Paul sang and he gave the melody a blues interpretation that sent shivers down my spine!

We were enthralled from the start (a short video with instrumental backing) to the final encore - number three I think, and we sat there for a while as the crowd streamed out and just smiled.

We didn't miss it, and if they make a DVD of this tour we'll get that too.

Cheers,
